Precision Genetic Test

What is the 10X Precision Genetic Test?

The 10X Precision Genetic Test is a comprehensive analysis of 54 key genes, designed to uncover the genetic factors that influence your body weight, metabolism, and nutrient processing. This test provides invaluable insights into how your genes impact your ability to process fats, carbohydrates, and proteins, caffeine, exercise types, and more – offering a personalized roadmap for achieving your health and fitness goals.  As your genes never change, take this test only once in your lifetime!

The resulting 400-page report includes explanatory details and videos:

  • A precision nutrition plan based on your genetic makeup
  • In-depth weight analysis and nutritional analysis
  • A detailed list of hundreds of food items tailored to your body’s genetic sensitivities
  • A customized workout plan aligned with your unique genetic profile

Where can I find my Precision Genetic Results?

Due to the truly customized and in-depth nature of the testing and DNA sequencing, Precision Genetic Test results are currently taking up to 30 days to complete once the lab receives your sample. Once your results are ready, you will receive an email to view them in the MyWellness Portal, the same portal used to register your kit.

I received my Precision Genetic Test results, but I have questions

To ensure you fully understand your Precision Genetic Test results, we offer the opportunity to schedule a personalized 1:1 consultation with one of our 10X Clinical Providers. During this call, we’ll help you decode your results and address any questions you may have. To schedule a consult, log into your portal, view your PGT results and click on the tile for a PGT Clarity Call.

Will the Precision Genetic results tell me what supplements I need?

The Precision Genetic Test results will go one better and break down your Precision Supplement formulation! Methylation Genetic Test

What is the 10X Methylation Genetic Test?

The 10X Methylation Genetic Test analyzes the five key genes (MTHFR, MTR, MTRR, AHCY, COMT) involved in your body’s methylation cycle. The methylation cycle is the body’s process of converting raw materials into usable nutrients (think about how we can get protein from a piece of chicken). By pinpointing the disruptions in this pathway, we can recommend the specific nutrients your body needs to function optimally. As your genes never change, this is a once-in-a-lifetime test!

How do I receive my Methylation Genetic Test results?

Results typically take up to two weeks once your sample is received at the lab. As soon as your report is ready, we’ll send an email notification to log in and view them in your MyWellness Portal.

I received my Methylation Genetic Test results, but I have questions.

The Methylation Genetic Test report is designed to be self-guided with videos and explanations throughout, but if you have additional questions, we offer the opportunity to schedule a personalized 1:1 consultation with one of our 10X Clinical Providers. To schedule this call, please view your results on MyWellness Portal and click on the Clarity Call tile at the top of the page.

Blood Test

What does the 10X Blood Test look at?

The 10X Blood Test looks at 72+ biomarkers that help you get a granular look at every key function in your body, from liver and kidney function to glucose and hormone processing. The insights from this blood test will help our medical team determine if you’re a good candidate for further optimization through custom treatment protocols like hormone therapies, advanced supplementation, additional testing, and more.

I recently had labs done - can I use those?

10X Health does not accept external labs.

I had my lab review, what happens next?

After that call, you’ll reconnect with your Wellness Advisor. When you order your protocol and receive it, you will be introduced to a 10X Health Wellness Concierge. This person will be your point of contact to help you understand and stick to these new protocols and lifestyle changes between visits.

Is my treatment protocol included in the cost?

No – any treatment protocols recommended will not be covered by the price of the test itself.

What do I do if I miss my lab review?

When will my protocol medications arrive?

Medication orders can take up to 20 business days. We are actively working with our compounding pharmaceutical partners to improve this turnaround time.

Where do I get my blood work done?

We send you a link to a local Labcorp office near you.

Are the 10X providers based in the USA?

All of our 10X providers are based in the USA and licensed in your home State. We provide coverage in all 50 States.

How do I schedule my telehealth call?

We’ll call you to schedule your appointment.

Will my Provider prescribe hormones?

Your provider will only prescribe what is medically justifiable and reasonable based on your lab results and consultation. Many, but not all patients qualify for hormone therapy.

What will my Provider prescribe?

Your provider will make recommendations based on your lab results and consultation. Your provider may prescribe a variety of products based on medical necessity and desired wellness goals.

Gut Health & Food Sensitivities Test

What is the 10X Gut Health & Food Sensitivities Test?

By collecting a simple blood sample, we will provide a report indicating if you have positive or negative markers for Leaky Gut, SIBO, Candida, and Gut Dysbiosis. We will also identify food sensitivities by level of severity.  Your report will also include recommended supplements and a personalized elimination diet with a tailored meal plan.  Always consult with your healthcare provider prior to taking new supplements if you are pregnant, nursing or have any medical conditions.

Supplements

In general, how should I take my supplements?

If you have not purchased a test or received personalized recommendations from us, please follow the instructions on the bottle. If you have purchased testing, please refer to the recommendations that were made as a part of your test results. If you have questions about your supplement protocol, please contact your Wellness Advisor to receive individual instructions. Always consult with your healthcare provider prior to taking new supplements if you are pregnant, nursing or have any medical conditions.

Do my supplements break my fast?

Taking 10X Health supplements does not break your fast, but taking some supplements on an empty stomach may cause stomach upset.

How can I manage my own subscription?

If you have a Shopify account and have used the same email as on file with 10X Health, log into your account and manage your subscription from there, otherwise reach out to Support and they will be happy to assist. 

Can I continue my medications prescribed outside of 10X Health?

Unfortunately, we are unable to make recommendations on how supplements can be used in conjunction with prescriptions that 10X Health does not recommend. Please consult with your doctor.

I purchased from Amazon or another third party, can you track my order?

Since your order was placed through another vendor, we have limited visibility to your order.  Please contact the Customer Service Team of the vendor you purchased it from.

What supplements does 10X Health carry?

10X Health makes our own supplements. Some of them can be purchased online at any time. Others may be purchased only after you complete your Genetic and/or Blood Tests. If we do not manufacture a supplement ourselves, we will recommend a trusted brand. Not all of our supplements are listed on our website, as some of them are based on your precision wellness protocol and can be ordered through us based on your results and plan. Some are exclusive formulas available only after completing your Genetic and/or Blood Tests, as part of your personalized precision wellness protocol. Others can be purchased directly from our website at any time.

When a supplement is not part of our exclusive formulations, we may recommend trusted third-party brands that meet our quality standards. Not all products we carry appear on our website—some are available only through your personalized plan and can be ordered through us once your results are ready.

Supplement in your protocol on back-order?

If a supplement is back-ordered, your protocol will be held until we can fulfill it in its entirety. As soon as all items are back in stock, we will ship out your order as quickly as possible!

Have dietary restrictions?

Many of our products are free from common allergens and are made in facilities that hold certifications such as Kosher, Halal, vegan, organic, or non-GMO. If you have specific dietary restrictions, always check the product label or our team can help you identify which supplements meet your needs. Please note: Colostrum and Omega-3 fish oil products are not vegan.

10X Health Plant Protein Powders are made in GMP-certified facilities and tested to meet industry safety standards. The Prop 65 label reflects California’s strict legal thresholds. It doesn’t mean anything harmful was added, but acknowledges naturally occurring elements in plant-based ingredients.

Hormones & Peptides

Why do I need a blood test before I consider hormone or peptide therapy?

Our peptides and hormones can only be prescribed by a 10X Clinical Provider. Our providers are functional medicine specialists and require blood work, and a telehealth consultation to properly assess your hormone levels and personal situation.  Peptides or hormone therapy may or may not be included in your recommended protocol.

I’ve seen research chemical peptides available online without a prescription - why do I need a prescription for yours?

Our peptides are available by prescription only because they are compounded under the supervision of licensed U.S. pharmacies for use as directed by a healthcare provider. Products marketed online as ‘research chemicals’ are often labeled ‘not for human use’ and may not come with professional oversight or clear usage guidance. For your safety, we only provide our products through proper medical channels.

If I take a Blood Test am I guaranteed a prescription for hormones or peptides?

Only one of our licensed providers can determine if you qualify for peptide or hormone therapy. Your blood work and your consultation informs the provider – and the provider may or may not recommend peptide or hormone therapies. It all depends on your personal situation.

Echo Hydrogen Water Bottle

My bottle came with a small amount water inside, is this normal?

Yes, bottles ship with a small amount of water in order to keep the membrane hydrated. If yours does not come with any water at all, or a few drops of water leaking out the bottom, don’t worry, the membrane just needs to be rehydrated.

My bottle came dry, what do I do?

A dry flask just needs to rehydrate! Fill it with non-chlorinated water, and let it sit for at least 2 hours. If you still struggle to get it started, boost the hydrogenation by letting it soak in hot water overnight, then run a cleaning cycle, discard the cleaning water, and refill with filtered water to use. When you see bubbles, this means your bottle is working properly!

Does my bottle need to be registered?

No need to register your bottle, 10X Health offers a 5-year limited warranty similar to the manufacturers. For more detail, please review the entire policy here.

I lost a part of my bottle, how can I get a replacement?

We offer replacement lids, gaskets, charging cords and charging blocks on our store.

I would like to make a warranty claim, how can I do that?

MyWellness Portal

I’m not receiving my One Time Password, what do I do?

One Time Passwords are sent from the email address of: mywellness@10xhealthsystem.com. Try checking your spam or junk folder, as some systems will filter the emails there. Once logged in, you also have the option of retrieving your future OTPs via text!

I am having trouble viewing my results.

Upon logging in, go to the Lab Reports tab and click on the tile of the test you looking to view. If your results are not there or you have any other questions, we are here to support you!

I am having trouble accessing MyWellness Portal.

To successfully log into your MyWellness Portal to view results, you must use the same email address you used to purchase, and the date of birth of the person who took the test. If the issue surpasses these criteria, please reach out to support for assistance.

Why can I not log into my minor child’s portal?

Minors do not have their own portals. Their results will appear under your portal, next to your results. If you do not see your minor child’s report populated in your portal after the given timeframe, please contact support.

Will my genetic data be sold?

10X Health is committed to the highest level of privacy and security for all patients and providers in our network. We will never sell or provide your information to anyone outside of our network.
